Final Project
Final Draft Mockup
I liked keeping the text over the beer glass element from Mockup 3, and added an actionable "takeout" button below it. This way, that area is "this is who we are, where and when we are, and here's the fastest way to get what we have, if you want it." The left area is more geared towards in-house customers, people who are interested in coming by and enjoying what is at the venue, or may be looking to plan a future trip. One of the main elements I'm still deciding on, is where to put the social media. I will have it at the bottom of the page, but I'm feeling like there should be a presence at the top as well.
I decided to focus on the Arcade/play aspect of the business for the left side, rather than the concerts, since the Brewery and the Arcade are the two main focuses. This place would have events, as there would be a small concert/open mic space, but it will usually be 8bit themed music, so it feels like a sub-category of the Arcade side. To help conceptualize this, here's a video of Bit Brigade performing at Magfest (a gaming and music festival in D.C. every January). There is a whole genre of music that deals with video game-inspired and sampled-from music, of which this is one example. Usually these groups have artists that release their music online, and rely on exposure at festivals and through social media to sell their music. The purpose of having a concert space would serve to provide a space for people who exist in either or both the "I play games" and "I like music that is game-themed" to mingle. Usually these groups overlap a lot, and are also adults who would be a target market for the brewery as well.
